Yajuan Liu’s story is one of persistent, passionate advocacy. She launched the Zizhu Sustainability Lab to raise public awareness of sustainable development through books, educational programmes, internet fundraisers, markets, exhibitions and workshops. Her Action4Good initiative, part of the UN’s World Cities Day programme, implements programmes in line with the organisation’s Sustainable Development Goals.
