At the 2022 Winter Olympics, Xu Mengtao won gold in the women’s aerials and silver in the mixed team aerials, and was given the honour of being China’s flag bearer at the closing ceremony. Those are only the latest accolades in Xu’s awe-inspiring medal cabinet, which include an Olympic silver in 2014, the World Championships in 2013 and five World Cup golds.
