Xiao Feng

Dr Xiao Feng is chairman and chief executive of HashKey Group, the Hong Kong-based digital-asset financial services firm behind one of the city’s licensed crypto exchanges. A veteran of China’s capital markets and an early backer of Web3 infrastructure, he champions a bridge between traditional finance and tokenised assets under Hong Kong’s evolving regulatory regime.

In January 2024, Xiao led HashKey’s Series A round of nearly US$100 million at a valuation above US$1.2 billion, propelling the group to unicorn status; in February 2025, the company secured a further US$30 million from Gaorong Ventures to accelerate growth.

Concurrently vice-chairman and executive director of China Wanxiang Holding, Xiao holds a PhD in economics from Nankai University and remains an influential voice in Asia’s digital-asset ecosystem.
