The Front Row | An It-girl for the digital era, this former fashion blogger has proven her staying power on social media and now boasts a worldwide following on TikTok
Nobody needs to tell you that Willabelle Ong is obsessed with fashion. Her Instagram, full of polished outfit snaps, speaks volumes—and colours and textures, because Ong knows how to mix things up. And now, the 29‑year‑old is on TikTok showing her followers (more than 650,000 of them, the last we checked) how she puts them all together. “My relationship with style began when I was very young, when I would watch my mum dress up. I’d secretly wear her heels when she wasn’t looking,” confesses Ong. Her mother’s love of tailoring clearly rubbed off on her. Now, as a mother herself, Ong sees her style changing thanks to her baby daughter Ava. “I just find something easy to put on, like a jumpsuit or a vest with cargo jeans,” she says. But “easy” will never translate to boring—not as long as Ong continues collecting what she calls “pieces of art, whether it’s a bag or a well‑made tweed jacket”.
