Identifying an appetite among millennials to invest in stocks, Wellson Lo founded Stockbit in 2012. A straightforward stock investing and social networking platform, it provides real-time data, news and analysis, allowing a younger generation of investors to get a taste of trading. That appetite has grown significantly and in 2019 the app raised its Series A funding, led by East Ventures, and launched Bibit, a robo-advisor that guides investors through building a portfolio.
