Chairman, Lien-Jade Construction Co., Ltd.
It takes persistence to come as far as Wei Lun Chiang has, but many who have worked with him will attribute his success to his keen attention to detail. First making his fortune by manufacturing shoe boxes in Mainland China, Chiang returned to Taiwan to live his dream of being in the field of construction and architecture. In 1994, he founded Lien-Jade Construction and rezoned the area south of the seventh phase of Taichung.
The Japanese garden villa project “Heyuan”—where Chiang began his practice of handling everything from land acquisition, planning, and construction to the final hardware and software installation—created a sensation and caused the rise of real estate prices of villas in Taichung at the time. Today, Chiang continues to create iconic landmarks in luxury housing.
