Wasinburee Supanichvoraparch has transformed the face of the Thai ceramics industry

Wasinburee Supanichvoraparch, an innovator in Thailand's ceramics industry, is the third-generation heir to Tao Hong Tai Ceramics Factory, the renowned and long-established traditional ceramics manufacturer in Ratchaburi Province. In addition to being a ceramic artist, he is also known for his photography, sculpture, installations and public art. He has showcased his outstanding works in various international art festivals, including the Venice Biennale, the 55th Bangkok Art Biennale, and the 3rd Jakarta Contemporary Ceramics Biennale. His creations have been exhibited in prestigious art galleries such as the Gallery of Contemporary Ceramic Art in Germany, Yingge Ceramics Museum in Taiwan, and the Singapore Art Museum.

Wasinburee Supanichvoraparch collaborated in creating ceramic urns to pay homage to the royal cremation ceremony of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. His works are also part of the collections at the Museum der Stadt Kassel and the Hessische Landesmuseum Kassel in Germany, Le Meridien Hotel in Bangkok, Shizen Lifestyle Spa Resort in Tel Aviv, and several art institutions in Thailand, including the National Museum of Ratchaburi Province and the Ministry of Culture. Moreover, he has been instrumental in promoting local art in Ratchaburi, founding the D Kunst Art Gallery and the first community art festival in the province called Art Normal.
