Vivian Yang grows world-class wine grapes in Taiwan
Born into a family with deep roots in farming, Vivian Yang was introduced early on to the beauty and complexities of growing Taiwanese wine grapes. She founded Weightstone Winery with her father, the late Wen-bin Yang, former chairman of Sinon Corporation. Through her commitment to Weightstone, she continues her father’s dream of showing the world that some of the best grapes can be grown in Taiwan.
The company produces white wine and traditional sparkling wine with classic brewing methods, while exploring the cultivation of more varieties in Taiwan. Its first sparkling white wine was launched in 2016, with an impressive reception from industry experts.

There are less than 60 hectares of wine grapes remaining in Taiwan, and it is Vivian Yang’s dream to contribute to this number through Weightstone.
