Delhi-educated, Jakarta-based, ex-McKinsey finance star Umang Rustagi has revolutionised the way credit works in Southeast Asia. FinAccel operates the credit app Kredivo, which enables customers to borrow between US$100 and US$2,200. If the client pays it back in full within a month, FinAccel won’t charge a fee. After that, there is an interest rate of 2.95 percent. The company has forged partnership with the likes of Tokopedia, JD.id and most recently, Samsung.
