An icon of the Hong Kong startup scene, Tony Verb is a global entrepreneur with a history of connecting the dots, most notable through his work as co-founder of GreaterBay Ventures & Advisors. An investment firm, GreaterBay Ventures & Advisors is focused on urbanisation with a positive impact in the region now known as the "Greater Bay Area,"the Chinese government’s initiative to link Hong Kong, Macau and nine cities in Guangdong province into an integrated economic hub. He is also the co-founder of Metta, a members-only multi-channel platform and club for entrepreneurs.

Tony’s creative industry experience and passion for culture helped him led him to play an integral role in getting entertainment-focused companies in Hong Kong, notably Ticketflap and Clockenflap Music and Arts Festival off the ground.

Tony is a proud member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers community. He is the Vice Chairman for the Greater Bay Area of the Investment Committee of the Smart City Consortium in Hong Kong, founding committee co-chair of the Fintech Association of Hong Kong, and he holds numerous advisory and director roles.
