In her twenties, when many were still searching for direction, tlinh had already chosen her own path. Leaving behind the dream of a white coat, she turned to music with a burning passion and a need to express herself. She never sought to appear provocative to fit into rap’s tougher image, nor did she retreat into a safer softness. Instead, she carved out her own identity, marked by sensitivity, sharpness and thoughtful musicality. From the very first season of Rap Viet, she stepped onto the stage not with the goal of winning, but to prove that female artists could lead with independence, honesty and authenticity, without having to imitate anyone else to be recognised.

This spirit has allowed tlinh’s music to resonate not only through its melodies, but also through its sincerity, capturing emotions of love, youth and the uncertain journey towards maturity.

In 2023, her journey reached a defining moment when her album ái was named among NME’s 25 best Asian albums, alongside global names such as NewJeans and Le Sserafim. That same year, Paper hailed her as Vietnam’s brightest star. Her hit Nếu lúc đó, a collaboration with 2pillz, dominated the Billboard Vietnam chart, collected a string of awards from Làn Sóng Xanh to Cống Hiến, and was ranked in the top five of Spotify Vietnam’s Looking Back 2023 campaign.

In 2024, she received four nominations at the WeChoice Awards and was shortlisted for the first time at the 18th Dedication Awards with two nominations. By 2025, the singer of Hop On Da Show had been crowned Female Singer/Rapper of the Year at the 2024 Green Wave Awards.

Her appeal extends far beyond personal achievements. tlinh is increasingly sought after for collaborations with established artists, from Toc Tien’s Like This Like That to Soobin’s Ai mà biết duoc and Suboi’s Tèn ten girls!. Even with a brief hook or verse, she has the ability to leave a mark, constantly reshaping her sound and her words. It is clear that tlinh is more than a musician: she is steadily becoming a cultural symbol for a new generation, unafraid to live boldly, to shine and to embrace difference in a world still heavy with prejudice.
