Graduating with a master’s from Harvard Law School, Tiza Mafira joined the Climate Policy Initiative to advocate for environmental policy change. She is also executive director of the Indonesia Plastic Diet Movement, which works to reduce single-use plastic waste through social education, private sector collaborations and government policy advocacy. Her work has been instrumental in ensuring that more than 20 cities in Indonesia have banned plastic bags, helping to reduce plastic pollution in the ocean.
