His company Next Gen Foods launched in Singapore in 2020 with soy “chicken” brand Tindle, and is already looking to expand to China, Europe and the US. With the capacity to produce 5,000 metric tonnes annually, Next Gen can serve up to 9,000 restaurants. The company recently raised an extended seed round of US$20 million, bringing its total seed funding to US$30 million.
