Theerathon Bunmathan is one of Thailand’s most soughtafter footballers. After a stellar career with Buriram United, the left back was scouted by arch rivals Muangthong United, transferring in 2016 for the Thai league’s highest fee. In 2018 he went on loan to Vissel Kobe in Japan’s J League, then to Yokohama F Marinos, who made him a permanent signing in 2019. He is the first Thai player to win the J League and continues to represent Thailand internationally.
