Tharathep (Gawdland) Thaweephon

Better known by the stage name Gawdland, Tharathep Thaweephon is one of Thailand’s most compelling drag queens of her generation. In March 2026, she made history as the first Asian winner of the global reality competition RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs the World Season 3 The milestone victory not only brought Thai artistry, humour and fashion to an international platform, but also underscored the creative force of Thailand’s LGBTQ+ and drag communities as a powerful expression of the country’s soft power on the world stage. Gawdland is currently taking that momentum across continents, with a world tour spanning Europe, Asia, Australia and America.
