A diplomatic bridge for Global Policy and Technology

Thao Griffiths addresses pivotal policy issues in the digital age, including privacy, security, and freedom of expression online.

She is also the first Vietnamese and the sole Asian representative appointed to the Board of Directors of the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP). The Netherlands-based organization specializes in locating and identifying people missing due to conflict, disasters, and other causes. Notably, Thao Griffiths is not only the youngest member but also the first independent citizen to hold this position, a role typically reserved for high-ranking government officials.

The US Congress has officially honored her for her significant role in strengthening Vietnam-US relations. Beyond international diplomacy, Thao Griffiths serves as a vital nexus between Vietnam and major global technology corporations, particularly those in Singapore and the US, thereby driving Vietnam’s technological and economic development.
