Thai Huong

Ms. Thai Huong was born on October 12, 1958, in Do Luong, Nghe An, and graduated from the National Economics University with a major in Financial Accounting. She worked in the state sector from 1982 to 1990 before transitioning to private business, assuming the position of General Director at Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank in 1994. In 2008, in response to the melamine milk issue from China, she founded TH Group with an initial investment of $1.2 billion in Nghe An. TH true MILK was launched in 2010, becoming the first pure fresh milk brand fully owned by a Vietnamese individual.

Under her leadership, TH built the largest high-tech dairy cow farm in Asia in Nghia Dan, applying Israeli technology and managing to global standards. The company also expanded into nut milks, fruit juices, herbal products, and clean foods. She has also made significant international investments, notably a $2.7 billion project in Russia, which was recognized by President Vladimir Putin for its contribution to food security and strategic relations.

Ms. Thai Huong pioneers a sustainable development model based on six pillars: Nutrition, Environment, People, Education, Community, and Animal Welfare. She also initiated the National School Milk Program and established the TH Nutrition Research Institute. Her achievements have been recognized through numerous international awards, including Forbes 50 Over 50 Asia 2022, Top 10 Asian Women for Sustainable Development 2021, Asia Visionary CEO of the Year 2024, and Global Sustainable Development Leader 2025. She also serves as the Chairwoman of the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Association, becoming an icon of Vietnamese women entrepreneurs internationally.
