Terry Tang’s creative takes on Chinese spirit baijiu have already won him several awards for his brand Kaishan. Traditionally, there are 12 standard flavours of baijiu; Terry has formulated the “13th flavour” in an effort to create a more modern take and a luxury but affordable version of the spirit. Established in 2018, the company hopes to update baijiu for the tastes of a younger generation. He is also a blogger and wine educator.
