Teodoro Locsin Jnr, popularly known as Teddy Boy Locsin, is a veteran newsman and former Philippine secretary of foreign affairs who is currently the ambassador to the United Kingdom. Locsin was the publisher of national dailies Today and Globe, and appeared on television as host and co-anchor of Teditorial, The Assignment and Points of View. He was also co-anchor of the radio shows Executive Session and Karambola.

In government, Locsin served as speechwriter, legal counsel and press secretary to President Corazon Aquino and as a speechwriter for Presidents Joseph Estrada and Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. Locsin was elected to serve as Makati first district representative from 2001 to 2010. In 2017, Locsin began his term as the Philippines’ permanent representative to the United Nations, having been designated to the position by President Rodrigo Duterte. In 2018, Locsin became the secretary of foreign affairs under Duterte’s administration, serving in the position until 2022.

In August 2022, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr nominated Locsin to be the next Philippine ambassador to the United Kingdom. Locsin presented his credentials to King Charles III on May 16, 2023. In August 2023, he was also named the special envoy to China for special concerns.
