Founder and Chairman, Foxlink (Cheng Uei Precision Industry)
When Tai Chiang “T.C.” Gou founded Foxlink in 1986, the company started by making plastic connectors—eventually becoming one of the world’s leading suppliers of connectors and cable assemblies, including Apple’s Lightning and Thunderbolt cables.
In 2020, Foxlink began ramping up production from a new plant in India, which was built in order to set up a supply chain outside of China, adding to the factory in Myanmar. In 2021, Foxlink launched its new R&D center in Central Taiwan Science Park, dedicated to developing the integration of battery, motor, and electronic control of electric vehicles and nano-waterproof technology, an investment in the future of electric vehicles.
