Tahan Lin joined the crowdfunding industry in 2011 and has worked on more than 400 projects in such varied fields as technology, design, society, creation, and public welfare. In 2014, Tahan established crowdfunding consulting company Backer-Founder to provide production, marketing and follow-up investment matching services to domestic and foreign crowdfunding projects. In 2017, he participated in the marketing and planning of Taipei Summer Universiade as a brand team member. In the same year, he was selected as a representative of next-generation gentlemen by GQ Taiwan, and was interviewed by BBC for his prowess in helping entrepreneurs with crowdfunding in Taiwan. More than 90 percent of the projects guided by Backer-Founder have successfully raised funds with an average of NTD4 million raised per project Since its establishment, the company has helped raise more than NTD900 million and has provided counselling services for more than 180 projects.
