Always striving to make a difference, Syed Azmi has been spearheading community lead initiatives as head of volunteer and community engagement at NGOHub. A digital platform, NGOHub that helps non-profit organisations, societies and volunteers to find resources needed in order to grow. Some of his most notable initiatives have been FreeMarket, a regularly held market to giving or take things for free; UmieAktif, empowering underprivileged mothers in Chow Kit by selling their handmade crafts; and Pit Stop Community Café, a cafe geared towards feeding the urban poor and homeless based on a pay-as-you-like concept. He is also head of volunteers for SOLS 24/7 and campaigned against child sexual abuse as part of Malaysian child sexual crimes task force.
