CEO, Katsana
When Syed Ahmad Fuqaha’s brother and friend had their cars stolen in 2013, he realised the importance of developing an in-vehicle GPS system that links to a smartphone. Three months later, he released his product, Katsana Track, helping police recover stolen cars, sometimes within an hour of theft. Katsana won a grant from the Malaysian government and Fuqaha was awarded a prize by the prime minister himself. Today Katsana is widely used by individuals, delivery companies and car rental groups.
