Sultan Abdullah Shah Ahmad Shah

 

The sixth sultan of Pahang enjoys the disciplinary elements of sports as the former president of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) as well as presidency roles for polo, squash, golf and shooting clubs.

The sixth sultan of Pahang, Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah ascended the throne recently as the 16th Malaysian king. He possesses a passion for military, having earned prestigious accolades since his university days. The father of 4 princes and 5 princesses also helmed the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) from 2013-2017, taking over from his late father Sultan Ahmad Shah, who served as president for 30 years. His love for sports is also evidenced in a number of presidency roles for polo, squash, golf and shooting clubs.
