A classic Indonesian snack is Kacang Garuda roasted peanuts, made by one of Indonesia's most widely popular food and beverage manufacturers, GarudaFood. Sudhamek Agoeng Waspodo Soenjoto runs GarudaFood, which is under the Tudung Group. His father is Darmo Putro, who founded Tudung Group in 1958.

In the beginning, Tudung Group was producing tapioca before later adding the famous roasted peanuts. Today, GarudaFood has more than 13,000 employees. Their products have expanded to biscuits, snacks, dairy products and sweets. Sudhamek also founded companies Bina Niaga Multiusaha Steel, Global Entrepreneurship Programme Indonesia and Dharma Agung Wijaya. He has also steered the ship as head of seven different companies.

Sudhamek received an undergraduate degree from Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana, Central Java.
