Stephen Riady

Dr Stephen Riady is the Executive Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer of OUE Limited, a listed real estate and healthcare group based in Singapore. He is an Honorary Patron of the Securities Investors Association of Singapore, Global Trustee of the Asia Society, member of the Advisory Council of One Country Two Systems Research Institute and member of the Advisory Board of Sloan School of Management of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA.

He is also a member of the Committee to Promote Economic Co-operation between Fujian and Hong Kong of the Fujian provincial government, Founding Honorary Advisor of the University of Hong Kong Foundation for Education Development and Research, and is an Honorary Citizen of Shenzhen.

Dr Riady was conferred the Chevalier de L’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres awarded by the French government. He received the Ernst and Young (E&Y) ASEAN Entrepreneurial Excellence Award 2018 and E&Y Strategic Investment Entrepreneur of the Year 2007. He was also conferred the Asia Society Southern California International Business Visionary Award and the ASEAN Entrepreneur of the Year Lifetime Achievement Award.

Dr Riady was honoured with the Asia Game Changer Award by Asia Society in 2023, recognising his longstanding commitment to improve the lives of rural communities in Papua, Indonesia. He is the first active Global Trustee of the Asia Society to receive this award.

He is a graduate of the University of Southern California, USA. and holds a MBA from Golden Gate University, USA and an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Business Administration from Edinburgh Napier University, United Kingdom. He is one of the first Honorary University Fellows installed by the Hong Kong Baptist University.
