Having her ministerial tenure under presidents Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Joko Widodo, Sri Mulyani is much admired for her leadership and financial skills. Other than that, her work portfolio ranges from consultant at USAID to COO and Managing Director at World Bank while also maintaining work as a university lecturer. Next, per G20 Summit in October 2021, Sri Mulyani will jointly co-lead the finance health task force for G 20 Countries, alongside the Italian minister of finance. Her main task is to create and launch plans for prevention, preparedness, and response (PPR) in the face of the pandemic. As a minister, one of her famous breakthroughs was holding tax reforms to increase state revenue. This year, Sri Mulyani introduced another revolutionary change in the taxation policy by merging the ID card with Taxpayer Identification Number. All her hard work amounted to her listing among Forbes Magazine’s 2020 The World’s 100 Most Powerful Woman and earning the Best Minister Award at the World Government Summit in 2018.
