DJ Lonskii is singlehandedly bringing the trance scene to Thailand. A multimedia graduate from Monash University in Australia, Srangkun Sirisinha’s career began as a DJ in Melbourne 2004. Since there is a monopoly controlling international bookings, he decided it would be easier to organize events in Thailand. He wanted to bring trance to Asian fans, saving them expensive flights to Europe, and to put Thailand on the global map. He later established Pure Pleasure Entertainment, a platform created to make a difference in Thailand’s dance scene. As the trance community is close-knit and friendly, he was able to convince high profile DJs to headline the event. To date, Srangkun has organised some of the biggest trance events, namely the renowned Transmission Festival Asia (March 2018) and UnKonscious (May 2018), Asia’s largest beach trance festival held at the private Paradise Beach, Phuket. He hopes that more people will be exposed to electronic music and start getting into the nuances of the subgenres. With aspirations to offer new exciting experiences and to contribute to making Thailand Asia’s new trance hub, expect more exceptionally grand events from him.
