Band Protocol, the company co-founded by Soravis Srinawakoon, is an open-source blockchain protocol for decentralised data curation. It has enabled new applications to be built on top of its technology, ranging from crypto games that reward players with cryptocurrency to decentralised lending platforms. In 2019, the startup became the first blockchain investment in Southeast Asia of venture firm Sequoia Capital India.
