Sirachai Arunrugstichai started out as a marine biologist, but switched to photojournalism to document and publicise the degradation of the marine environment he was witnessing. His work focuses on human interaction with nature and how we can preserve marine resources. He has worked for organisations including National Geographic, the International Union for Conservation of Nature, WildAid, Greenpeace, Oxfam and the Thai government’s Department of Marine and Coastal Resources.
