Simon Lin currently serves as the Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer of Wistron Corporation. In July 2001, while he was the President & CEO of Acer Inc., Lin led the spin-off and establishment of Wistron Corporation from Acer Inc. Under his leadership, Wistron Corporation successfully went public in August 2003, becoming the first high-tech company in Taiwan to achieve Taiwan Stock Exchange approval for Public listing under new regulations regarding splitting of existing public companies.

Lin has led Wistron to challenge the global leadership position in the professional design and manufacturing industry of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Wistron collaborates closely with world-renowned brand customers, essential technology partners and key suppliers. Its technical expertise spans across emerging technologies such as AI, 5G, Metaverse applications, automotive and Industry 4.0 automation. The company is committed to realising the vision of Innovation and Sustainability. In 2022, Wistron’s consolidated revenue reached NT$984.62 billion, and the total market value of the Wistron Group, including Wistron and its subsidiaries Wiwynn, Wistron NeWeb and Wistron ITS, exceeded NT$650 billion.
