Shih-Hsiung Chou graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and obtained a master's degree from the Department of Sculpture at Yale University School of Art. His oil painting works have been exhibited in the Royal Academy of Arts in London, and he has won a number of British contemporary art awards. He won a prize for excellence in sculpture at the Kaohsiung Awards, exhibited a major exhibition of his new works titled Wait Until It Dries in London in 2015, held an exhibition in Taipei Fine Arts Museum in 2016, and won the exhibition space design award at Germany's iF Design Award in 2018. Aside from his work as an artist, Shih-Hsiung is the founder of men's barber shop Sculptor Barber, in which he often hosts a variety of cross-boundary literary and artistic activities.
