The Valiram Group’s journey, which began as a humble textile trading company founded by his grandfather in 1935, has evolved into a luxury and lifestyle retail empire—which spans nine territories in Southeast Asia and Oceania, and manages an impressive portfolio of over 200 brands across diverse categories—under the stewardship of Valiram and his younger brothers, Ashvin and Mukesh Valiram.

With his deep understanding of retail, Valiram’s vision has always been to create world-class shopping environments, ensuring that the brands represented by Valiram provide not only products but exceptional experiences. Brands like Michael Kors, Godiva, Chopard, Bulgari, Swiss Watch, and Ralph Lauren have found a home in Valiram’s expansive portfolio. Apart from running the family business, Valiram serves as president of the Malaysia Retail Chain Association.
