Sebastian Togelang

The German born and raised Sebastian has been an entrepreneur since he was 18. He has co-founded companies such as Ideabox and served on multiple boards such as C88FinTech. He returned to Indonesia as a venture capitalist because he saw opportunities to help local start-ups. Kejora is a technology start-up accelerator and early-stage investor with over USD 200m under management and more than 35 investments around Asia. These investments have created more than 4,500 jobs within 4 years. Sebastian and his four partners have intensively invested in start-ups, from e-commerce sites to financial technology platforms that have gained traction in the Indonesian market. Sebastian guides start-ups from the venture capital’s headquarters in Slipi, West Jakarta, also dubbed “Slipicon Valley” due to its high concentration of technology companies. However, the Jakarta-based venture capitalist also sets its sights on investing throughout the region, with representatives present in the Philippines and Singapore. He served as the Secretary General of the Indonesian Venture Capital Alliance.
