With Ordinary Folk, Sean Low wants to help everyone access healthcare that is private, affordable and available 24/7. It connects patients to healthcare professionals through two platforms, on which medication, records, medical advice and assistance can be easily dispensed, focusing on often stigmatised areas such as sexual health, mental health, fertility and weight management. In 2022, the company raised US$5 million in pre-Series A funding from Monk’s Hill Ventures to expand into Hong Kong.
