Such was the intention of Santi Elizalde, president and CEO of Anya Hospitality Corporation and of Roxaco Land Corporation when he set out to build Anya on 7.3 hectares of farmland.

To do it, he applied his years of experience in property development and the service industry—particularly, the acumen he developed during his directorship of Roxaco’s Club Punta Fuego in Batangas. That invaluable experience plus inspiration from travels abroad were what drove Elizalde to realise Anya Resort, which celebrated its fourth year in 2021, and has grown to become a wellness sanctuary with an air of sustainable luxury as well as Filipino sensibilities. Thanks to Elizalde’s leadership, Anya has in its time become a go-to getaway for international visitors and Manila’s upper crust.
