Saikrishnan Ranganathan’s internet of things startup SensorFlow allows hotels to make massive savings on energy use. The company retrofits premises to automate decision making, resulting in energy savings of between 30 and 50 percent, and avoiding guest complaints through predictive maintenance. With customers including Ascott, Dorsett, Accor and Hyatt, the company secured US$8.3 million in Series A+ funding in 2020.
