Founder and chairman, Planters
Seeing devastating deforestation in his previous role as a consultant fuelled Sadruddin Saifudin’s passion to conserve rainforests and restore wildlife stability. His organisation Planters replants and protects trees, trains and employs people from the local communities, and fights illegal logging using drones and satellite systems. It works closely with the Malaysian government, corporations and NGOs, and manages more than 50 million trees spread across an area of 200,000 acres.
