Roy Lim’s company Robocore develops applications for robotics platforms in areas that include home, hospitality, retail, medical and industrial, as well as developing a variety of smart sensors. Robocore’s robots, which are capable of self-navigation, can perform functions such as floor cleaning, mobile entertainment, indoor air quality sensing and elderly care services. Some of the company’s clients include UBS, MTR and IBM. Roy is also an advisor to the official Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Commission.
