Roshinee Mookaiah

From a working class family, Roshinee Mookaiah leads Mekar Kami, where she works at a grassroots level to make engagement with politics and human rights issues accessible for Malaysian women and girls. Recognised with an Anugerah Citra Madani award, which is given to women who are making a positive impact, for her work advancing gender empowerment, she continues to inspire and equip marginalised communities to engage meaningfully in democracy.
