Robert Zhao Renhui is a soul deeply moved by nature. But as much as the forest inspires him, it is also his greatest fear. The 35-year-old visual artist's thought-provoking works, which explore our relationship with nature, were recently exhibited at the Rockbund Art Museum in Shanghai. He was the only Southeast Asian finalist of the 2017 Hugo Boss Asia Art Award for Emerging Asian Artists. In May 2018, he is participating in the Onassis Culture Centre's Fast Forward Festival in Athens, Greece.
