Robert Wun

Hong Kong-born, London-based fashion designer Robert Wun launched his label in 2014, two years after being discovered by Joyce Boutique for his graduate collection. Initialising his business with custom orders, he broke through with clothes featuring a sculptural approach, innovative materials and attention-grabbing silhouettes inspired by movies and nature.

In 2022, he staged his first solo museum exhibition, Robert Wun: Between Reality and Fantasy, at the SCAD Fash Museum of Fashion + Film in the US, featuring more than 40 of his pieces. He hit the highest echelon of the fashion world in 2023 when he became the first designer from Hong Kong ever to show at Haute Couture Week in Paris as a guest member of The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, delivering a closing show created with the support of Chanel’s president of fashion Bruno Pavlovsky after winning the Grand Prix at the 2022 ANDAM Fashion Awards.

Wun has since solidified his international status as a haute couture titan, headlining Paris Couture Week with his Spring/Summer 2026 Valour collection and his July 2026 Childsplay show. Back home, he held a ten-year anniversary showcase in Hong Kong in September 2024 with Tatler and Centrestage, followed by a major local stage debut in April 2026 designing bespoke architectural costumes for Hong Kong Ballet’s world premiere contemporary production, Martlet, set to the music of legendary Canto-rock band Beyond.

A committed champion of inclusivity, escapism, futurism and feminism, Wun’s creations are a firm favourite of international icons including Beyoncé, Solange, Céline Dion, Lady Gaga, Adele, Cardi B, Florence Pugh, Billy Porter, Awkwafina, Björk and Doja Cat.
