Understanding the pains of time-strapped urbanites who want food that’s fresh, healthy and home cooked, Rishi and his wife Pranoti Nagarkar Israni established their company, Zimplistic, and over the course of eight years developed Rotimatic, a household appliance that automates the making of Indian-style flatbread. The device, the world’s first fully integrated food robot of its kind, makes rotis in 90 seconds; as of press time, 55m rotis have been made by Rotimatic across 20 countries around the world.
