Richard Prentice is the CEO of SG Support Services, Asia’s leading outsourced partner for charities and NGOs. It helps charity partners with their end-to-end fund-raising solution, from donation processing to donor communication, and helps them retain donors and grow their donor base. Partnering with charities all around the world—from WWF and Greenpeace to SOS Children’s Villages and National Cancer Society Malaysia—SG Support Services has helped charities raise US$1 billion in donations from 3.3 million regular donors and grow their donor base by 360,000 annually.

An economics and human-resources graduate from the University of Strathclyde, UK, Prentice started his career in the energy sector at British Gas as a sales and operations manager, rising up the ranks to head of quality and improvement. He later joined Australian Power & Gas, becoming its national sales manager in 2012, before trading energy for the direct sales and marketing industry with Appco Group.

In 2015, Prentice joined SG Support Services based in Malaysia as chief operating officer, before again rising to the helm as CEO in 2019.
