A thriving live music industry depends on more than bringing international stars to local stages; it requires the infrastructure, talent and audiences to sustain it. As managing director of Live Nation Philippines, Rhizaq Pascua works across both sides of that equation, expanding the country’s appeal as a touring destination while creating opportunities for Filipino artists to reach audiences abroad.

Under her leadership, Live Nation Philippines was named Music Company of the Year in 2025. A significant milestone followed in 2026, when she helped create the opportunity for SB19 to perform at Lollapalooza Chicago, making them the first Filipino group to appear at the festival. Their achievement underscored the potential of Filipino acts to compete on major international stages and renewed attention on the support local artists need to perform overseas.

Pascua’s priorities now extend to venue capacity, ticketing transparency and accessibility, as demand for live events raises questions about pricing and the fan experience. By addressing these practical challenges alongside international expansion, she is helping build an industry in which global entertainment reaches more Filipino audiences and local talent has clearer routes to the world.
