Rex leads the team at GiMer Medical, the first R&D company in Asia to patent implantable electronic medical equipment. Its research focuses on reducing chronic lower back pain through high frequency stimulation, which has fewer side effects than current techniques. GiMer won the first investment in the biotech industry from Medtronic China Venture Fund, which is owned by the world’s largest medical equipment supplier.
