Reino Barack

Reino Barack

Indonesian-Japanese entrepreneur, producer and director Reino Barack, now second in command at MNC Media, is so much more than his hit animated series BIMA Satria Garuda

Reino Barack wears many hats. An entrepreneur, producer, director and heir to a huge family business, he is also the Senior Vice-President of Global Mediacom broadcasting company (holding company MNC Pictures) and MNC TV. His father, Rosano Barack, currently sits on its board as President Commissioner.

One can only imagine the influence and power Reino Barack wields in Indonesia; aside from media, his family has stakes in retail estate and hospitality. It should come as no surprise, then, that Barack himself has stakes in high-end restaurants Altitude at The Plaza, Akira Back, Ristorante de Valentino, Ishigamaya, Proof Bar and The Cloud Lounge & Dine.

Prior to being known as the creator of the hit tokusatsu or live-action series BIMA Satria Garuda, Barack graduated from the American University of Paris, majoring in International Finance and International Economics. He worked as a transaction consultant with one of the world’s largest professional services networks, Ernst & Young, before joining Global Mediacom in 2008.

Global Mediacom is Indonesia’s leading integrated media company with the most extensive multi-platform media portfolio.
