Violinist

 

For his preeminence as a violin maestro

A star of the classical music world since childhood, violinist Ray Chen performed at the opening concert of the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics aged just eight, and in 2012 became the youngest soloist to perform at the Nobel Prize concert. He has released three critically acclaimed albums and won numerous awards, including the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition. In 2021 he co-founded online music tuition platform Pocket Conservatory.
