Raveenderan Ramamoothie is the president, group CEO and founder of Entomo (previously known as KPISoft), a next-generation platform that uses augmented analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) to connect the entire performance value chain of enterprise organisations. Having led performance improvement programs for several multinationals and governments across the globe, Raveenderan’s passion lies in helping organisations perform better. His leadership career and deep research in the subject for over two decades have shaped the revolutionary performance management software Entomo.

In 2020, Entomo, with strategic cooperation from the National Security Council, the Health Ministry, the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU) and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), developed and launched MySejahtera, a mobile application that facilitates contact tracing efforts to better manage and mitigate the Covid-19 outbreak in Malaysia. It was also widely used in the country for checking in when visiting a new place via the QR code scanning method, registering for the Covid-19 vaccine and showing proof of vaccination and traveller’s card for those entering Malaysia.

MySejahtera contributed towards Malaysia being recognised as one of the top five countries in the world to have successfully contained the spread of Covid-19. It also fast-tracked the country’s vaccination programme, which commenced in late February 2021 and has fully inoculated over 80 per cent of the population and 97 per cent of adults as of April 24, 2022.

In the post-pandemic era, MySejahtera has transitioned from a Covid-19 pandemic management application to a public health platform. Updated features include onboarding organ donor pledgers; an infectious diseases tracker covering other transmittable diseases such as measles, rabies and hand, foot and mouth disease; locating health facilities including blood banks; and personal health monitoring.
