In the hope of better integrating traditional elements and skills into his own contemporary ceramics life, Ran Xiangfei set up the Yiyangyisheng Design Studio in Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province in July 2014, and established the Jingdezhen Xinmi. To inform his work he spent time in the Royal Delft Porcelain Factory in the Netherlands from November to December 2016 and from March to April 2017. He also held an exhibition in the Court of the Prince in Delft in early April 2014 and was received by the Queen of the Netherlands. In April 2018, Xiangfei established a new brand focusing on the development and research of Linglong ware.
